Jose W. Fernandez, the US Assistant Secretary of State for Economic and Business Affairs, said that the US government wants “US companies to invest” in Myanmar, at US-Myanmar Trade and Investment Conference.
He is quoted as saying by Mizzima,”The US government is dedicated to doing everything in its power to encourage and support social and corporate responsibility.
We want US companies to invest here in a social and responsible manner.”
Republic of the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry hosted US-Myanmar Trade and Investment Conference Monday.
The two sides signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the conference.
